Children at Neema take part in various activities to help them grow and develop into men and women of importance to society and to themselves
WHAT WE DO
Class Work
Neema provides education for its children using the newly acquired bus to get them to school
Farm Activities
Neema being a home, the children take part in farming activities within the home whereby vegetables, and at times cereals, as well as potatoes, are grown and this helps in reducing the food expenses for the children. Rearing of cattle is also done at Neema especially cattle for provision of milk for the children.
Church Activities
Neema is founded on a Christian background. The Neema staff preach and live an exemplary Christian life. Children, staff and workers at Neema take part in church activities, including a Bible study every week day which is facilitated by the Director, Sister Catherine M. Kihiuhi.
Social Activities
Children at Neema take part in various charitable social activities locally including visiting the elderly and sick and cleaning up the local area. This enhances unity and good community relations.
